Our Story: Why PH8.5 Water Shop Was Born?

Our journey began when our family made the switch to bottled water after discovering that the municipal supply while legally “safe” was being recycled and had an inconsistent taste. Like many, we just wanted clean, fresh water we could trust.

 

We tried several local water shops, hoping for better. But time after time, we found something wasn’t right whether it was a metallic, chemical, or salty after taste, the quality just wasn’t there. That’s when the idea for Water Shop was born.

 

Driven by a desire for truly pure, great-tasting water, we began researching water purification systems, methods, and industry standards. What we uncovered was eye-opening, while many shops followed basic practices, few went the extra mile. We believed Ballito deserved better, so we built it.
