The bottled water industry, as we know it today, is operating with a philosophy that’s at least 30 years out of date. Meaning It has not fully adapted to new scientific findings, environmental realities, or the evolving understanding of water contamination. While consumers continue to associate bottled water with purity, the truth is more complex and more concerning.

The Hidden Journey of Water

Water is now part of a globally polluted water cycle.

Here’s what most people don’t realise:

• Rainfall is not pure - Every raindrop falling from the sky is increasingly contaminated by atmosphere pollution. Industrial emissions, vehicle exhaust, and agricultural chemicals all release pollutants into the air which is absorbed as water accumulates falls to the ground.

• Runoff collects more contaminants - As rainwater seeps into the ground, runs underground or runs into rivers and dams, it absorbs contaminants like:
